The 5th edition of the Madras Art Guild officially commenced on February 12th, marked by an evening where tradition seamlessly met contemporary vision. We were deeply honoured to have Dr. Shobana, recipient of the Padma Bhushan 2025, inaugurate the festival.
The event featured several unforgettable highlights, beginning with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and the unveiling of the stunning Kala Car. Attendees were also treated to a mesmerizing Bharatanatyam performance by the Kalarpana Ensemble. This inauguration kicks off a month-long celebration of creativity, showcasing exquisite fine arts and immersive sculptures that beautifully capture the spirit of Madras.
