VR Chennai hosted the first edition of Madras Art Guild, an extension of Virtuous Retail's award traveling public art festival in January 2019.
The month-long festival, had displayed more than a hundred unique artworks, including paintings, sculptures and audio-visual installations - a collection curated from premier art organisations and institution. The festival had also featured unique art related events throughout the duration including Performance Art, The Basement Art Project, Art Cinema and an art competition for children.
